# Proposal System

Any user holding **at least 2,500 veAIW3** can initiate a proposal. Once initiated, the voting period lasts for **7 days**.

* **Proposal Threshold:** Requires holding **2,500 veAIW3** (exact value subject to adjustment).
* **Voting Power:** Any veAIW3 holder can vote. Voting weight is proportional to the amount of veAIW3 held.
* **Proposal Duration:** 7 days.
* **Voting Power Decay:**
  * First 3.5 days: 100% voting weight.
  * Last 3.5 days: voting weight linearly decays to 0%.
* **Passing Criteria:**
  * Approval votes ≥ 51%.
  * Quorum ≥ 30% of the total veAIW3 supply.

### Voting Power Decay in Proposals

Any veAIW3 holder can vote on any proposal, provided they hold veAIW3 before the voting period begins.During DAO proposal voting, a voter’s influence on a **single proposal** decays over time. This mechanism prevents whales from manipulating outcomes by casting last-minute votes. *(This rule does not apply to weighted delegation votes.)*For each 7-day proposal:

* **First 3.5 days:** Your vote carries full (100%) voting power.
* **Last 3.5 days:** Your voting power decays linearly to 0% by the end of the voting period.
